From now on we are part of a global community of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
By Llanos Meseguer* (Barcelona, 7/9/2024). La Machi Comunicación para Buenas Causas somos ahora una Empresa B certificada. By creating standards, policies, tools and programs for companies, B Lab verified that we are one of the many companies that are leading the transformation towards a new economic paradigm. As a B Corp, we are part of a global community of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental impact. At La Machi we are a high-performance team that seeks to generate a positive impact through the communication of good things. Having received the B company certification is not only a dream come true, but it fills us with pride because we are now among the companies that lead a global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. A grain of sand to change the world, some 5,000 organizations in 79 countries, linked to 154 industries, have obtained certification and are part of the B Corp Movement. In Spain, there are already more than 200 companies that have obtained this seal. Being a B Corp is aspiring to be, not one of the best companies in the world, but one of the best for the world. Companies with B Corp certification make a difference, when making decisions, in five areas of impact: workers, customers, the environment, the community and governance. Our mission at La Machi Comunicación para Buenas Causas is in line with the premise of this certification. In this sense, our international team firmly believes that the development of society and the economy in a fair and sustainable manner requires human and transcendent values to sustain it. In 2023 we began the B Corp Certification process, obtaining good results in the five areas of the evaluation necessary to achieve the B seal: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. Today, we are proud not only of having received the certification, but also because the total score obtained during the evaluation process was higher than the average of companies that have this demanding certification. * Chief Operating Officer, La Machi.
